Oakwood School Belfast Donation

November 18, 2016 By Jorge Garcia Leave a Comment

W. Master of Sir George Clark Memorial Lodge No. 669, W. Bro.Bal Madrid presenting Oakwood School, Belfast with a £250 donation
Oakwood School and Assessment Centre is a controlled special school, owned and maintained by the Education Authority, Belfast Region.
It admits boys and girls aged from 3-8 years who may have severe learning difficulties.

A further £250 was presented by W. Bro. Bal Madrid to Autism NI, Belfast.
Autism is a lifelong disability which affects the social and communication centre of the brain.
Autism affects the way an individual relates to people, situations and the immediate environment.
There is no known cure, but there are many ways to help!

This money (£500) was raised from a very successful and enjoyable Ladies Night Charity Dinner & Dance at the Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast, in October 2016
The W. Master would like to thank all those Lodge Brethren, family and friends who supported the event.
